AI National Initiative

Principal Investigator

Leading Luxembourg's national AI infrastructure initiative to democratize access to artificial intelligence capabilities for research, innovation, and industry. The AI Factory provides compute resources, tools, and expertise to accelerate AI adoption across sectors.

Key Objectives:

  • Establish high-performance computing infrastructure for AI workloads
  • Provide accessible AI platforms and tools for researchers and businesses
  • Foster collaboration between academia and industry
  • Build AI competencies and support talent development

GDI Project - Work Package 4

EU Project Genomic Data

Work Package Leader (2022-2026)

Leading Work Package 4 of the €40M Genomic Data Infrastructure (GDI) project, which implements the 1+Million Genomes initiative. GDI creates a federated European infrastructure for secure access to genomic and clinical data across 24 countries.

WP4 Focus Areas:

  • Develop technical infrastructure for federated genomic data access
  • Implement security and authentication frameworks
  • Coordinate with national nodes across Europe
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and ethical data governance
